take warm water stir and add salt until it wont dissolve. garlge with it as long as you can. then spit and repeat. the salt has a way of drying out the throat making it harder for infections to survive. essentially listerine does the same thing it kills the infection that causes the soreness. do this as often as you can an it should clear up. also you can go to a pharmacy and get some chloraseptic its like sore throat spray.

If you could travel anywhere or take a semester in a college in any place

If you could travel anywhere or take a semester in a college in any place?
where would you travel to and why? I am thinking of taking a semester to a different college in maybe Australia, Italy, Europe or Malta. I have been checking those places out for good colleges since i want to become a nurse/medical field. anyways, have you been to any of these places? what did you think? did you go alone? which specific areas did you go and you loved? what were places you went and you felt unsafe, to stay away from? what some things did you do when you visited the countries? any fun tourist areas where the people are nice enough to show you around? Thanks for any advice! theres bugs wherever you go! im gonna keep thinking about it lol

If you like clean mountains and clear water, Switzerland. Poland is nice with cities beaches and mountains. Spain is beautiful. Italy is not bad. If you go australia you can visit New Zealand china figi. Personally, I love British Columbia in Canada.

i would just want to travel. i would love to be able to travel the world someday

I would want to go to S. Korea, I just love how different the language is and how amazing the culture is. I think that out of the few that you've said, Italy would be the most interesting to me. I know that from what I've seen of the country it looks very pretty and mostly the people don't look like they're just going to judge you because you might have some kind of trouble with the language. I don't know about Australia, ick spiders and creepy crawlies everywhere :O

Turkey is great place to travel. Why? Pleas check below link. http://www.squidoo.com/PlacesAtTravelTurkey

I would like to visit one of the countries around Iguazu Falls. I've been living in Italy for the last 11 years and still have a home in Colorado. I've been fortunate enough over the years to have had the opportunity to explore most of Europe, North America and the Caribbean, but have not been to South America. Waterfalls are fascinating and Iguazu looks spectacular from the pictures, so I'd like to go and see it some day. There are a number of excellent schools here in Italy and a lot of international students who love it here. You might look into the University of Bologna.

any Italians here is Italian an easy language to learn

any Italians here ??is Italian an easy language to learn?
im 18 im going to college maybe in Dec. im not sure about the college application deadlines here in NYC so anyways i want to learn a new language it seems like it would be fun i already know 3 ,well technically 2 Polish which is my native and English which is my 2nd and i know a little bit of German but its seen a long time since i spoke or write in German so anyways is Italian an easy language to learn ?? my family is from Poland and my parents are actually thinking about moving there after im done with college they do think that im gonna move back there with them but its not gonna happen im probably gonna stay here in USA but move to California or if i decide ot move back ot Europe it will not be Poland sometimes im ashamed of my heritage cause the people there are so disrespectful and prejudiced and full of hate so i was thinking about maybe a country with a warmer climate than Poland so i thought about Italy i was there for the 1st time last year i was in Venice in summer i did enjoy it very much but too many people are there during summer i would love to go back there during summer again just to learn the language im going ot college for veterinary technology to become a vet tech ( in some countries its knows as a vet nurse) i didnt had an opportunity in learning Italian in high school as my high school offered Spanish, Chinese and German ,i took a semester of German i was doing really good but is been like 4 years since i used it

Italian is very much like Spanish, and I take Spanish, which is fairly easy. My Uncle is learning Italian, and by the looks of it it doesn't seem too hard. Good luck. :)
2 :
i dunno about that but i gotta say, i love the italian accent when speaking english, they remind me of the godfather or the sopranos
3 :
i find it pretty easy but again it is very similar to spanish and spanish is my second language.

In my experience, Italian is easy to get the basics of (basic grammar, vocabulary, etc), but difficult to master. With just a few months of studying, you should be able to communicate with Italians, in terms of asking simple questions, but it will take a long time to master the subtleties of the language. I don't know any Polish or German, but I know that Italian uses several tenses that English doesn't have. Though, they say the more languages you know, the easier it is to pick up a new one :-) GOOD LUCK!

The Italian language is without any doubt one of the most beautiful languages, a language that seems to capture the extraordinary essence and spirit of Italy. Learn Italian and you will find your time in Italy so much more enjoyable. Italians really appreciate foreigners making an effort to speak Italian, no matter how poor the attempt, you will find Italians will encourage you. How to Start Learning Italian? Learning Italian is easy. I spoke very little Italian on arrival in Italy. All you need to do is a software language course - I did the Rosetta one but there are now far better and cheaper courses. I followed up the Italian software course with a course at the Dante Alighieri School, and I am now completely fluent. I can assure you I am far from a genius so if I can do it anyone can.

Could you check my paper for spelling or grammar mistakes

Could you check my paper for spelling or grammar mistakes?
Translation 4 Our neighbours have changed their minds and are going to Spain instead of going to Italy on their holiday. We should hope that they don't go forever. Don't sign the contract without looking at it. This morning I missed the bus and had to wait for the next one, which didn't come on time. The building cought fire but the firemen managed to put out the fire. I advice you to learn the poem by heart. Suddently the lights turned off, but the spokesman kept on speaking everyone there to much surprise. One of the students passed out when he saw the nurse. Atleast a half an hour past before he gained consciense again. Never suspend anything to morning if you can do it today. It would have been best for you to tell the truth right away. I have said it to him again and again, but he never seems to remember anything. His aunt inherited him with alot of money. Did you lend the woman in the next house your sewing machinge? All resolution must be returned in the end of the test. The acident is on some level his fault. I don't recall having heard this before.

5) The building caught fire, but the firemen managed to put out the fire 6) I advise you to learn the poem by heart 7) switch the wording around on this one.. try: Suddenly the lights turned off, but surprisingly, the spokesman continued to speak to everyone there 9) At least a half an hour passed before he gained consciousness again 13) He inherited a lot of money from his aunt 14) Did you lend the woman in the next house your sewing machine? 15 seems to be worded very wrong.. im not sure what you're trying to say 17) The accident is, on some level, his fault OR The accident is on some level, his fault
2 :
Well, you don't have any quotation marks around what people are actually saying. Also "his aunt inherited him with a lot of money" sounds weird. (ps, a lot is 2 words, not 1)
